What is Marketing Operations?

Marketing Operations is the process of building or reorganizing a company’s marketing function, defining what it needs to be, who should be responsible for it, how the operation should work, and which resources are required.

The work may involve strategy, people, processes, portfolio and offerings, partners, technology, channels, budget, and performance indicators — connecting the different elements required for marketing to operate in an integrated way.

My work is to turn this combination into a clear, efficient operation connected to the business, capable of planning, executing, measuring results, and continuously evolving.

Your company needs marketing. But is it structured to make it work?

Hiring people, adopting tools, or engaging suppliers does not, by itself, create an effective marketing operation. Without a clear structure, responsibilities become blurred, processes get lost, and resources are used without a common direction.

Unclear structure
There is no clear definition of which marketing functions need to exist, who should take on each responsibility, or what can be handled internally or outsourced.

Disorganized processes
Requests, campaigns, content, and projects happen without clear workflows, defined priorities, responsibilities, and routines.

Poorly structured offering
Products, services, audiences, and value propositions are not organized clearly enough to guide positioning, communication, and commercial initiatives.

Resources without integration
Teams, agencies, suppliers, tools, channels, and budgets exist, but do not operate as an integrated system focused on results.

Who is Marketing Operations consulting for?

This consulting service is designed for companies that need to build, reorganize, or professionalize their marketing function by defining processes, responsibilities, tools, and priorities. It is especially valuable for growing businesses whose marketing activities have become more complex and require a structure that can support the company’s next stage of growth.

A strategy only delivers results when there is a structure capable of executing it.

Building a marketing operation means connecting people, processes, tools, channels, and management around clear objectives.

More than creating a department, the goal is to build a system capable of planning, executing, measuring, and continuously evolving.
